A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a cup of wonderful tea along with some scottish oatcakes!
There are roughly 50 teas from around the world on the menu as well as fantastic european-style hot chocolates along with small dishes like crepes or japanese rice crackers.
You can buy all teas in bulk as well as unique teaware like chinese YiXing teapots, gaiwan cups, japanese tea pots as well as more traditional western-style tea items so you can celebrate your own tea ceremony at home! |

Enjoy a precious Taiwanese Oolong gung-fu style or slurp a cup of frothy japanese Matcha!
We are importing our teas directly and strive to offer the highest quality available. Our aim is to source organic teas and practise fair-trade principles.
Currently, you can drink tea in the teahouse and buy our teas in the shop but we're planning to add an online-order facility to our website (www.yayateahouse.co.nz) in the near future.
We also have regular events like tea seminars with tastings, live music and others at the teahouse. Information about upcoming events is available in our blog (http://blog.yayateahouse.co.nz).
